Help people be present
in their meetings
We're building tools that let people listen instead of transcribe — and that treat the conversation, and everyone in it, with care.
The best notes start with the person taking them
Meetings are where a lot of real work gets decided, and most of what's said there is forgotten by the end of the week. The usual fixes either pull your attention away from the people in the room or hand the whole conversation to someone else's server.
MeetingMate takes a different route: your notes, completed by a transcript made on your own computer, with a clear line between what you wrote and what was added. We want to keep building in that direction — useful, honest and private by default.
What we care about
Privacy is the architecture
We'd rather not collect something than promise to protect it. If a feature needs your data to leave your computer, it has to earn that.
Say only what's true
In the product and about the product. Grey text when we're not sure it's yours; clear availability when it isn't built yet.
Small, sharp tools
A button that does one thing well beats a settings page. We cut features that make the notepad harder to trust.
Write it down
Decisions, trade-offs and reasons live in writing — which, for a notes company, feels like the least we can do.
Open roles
No open roles right now
We're not hiring at the moment. Follow the project for future updates.
